The tale of mutiny on HMS Bounty is not a fiction in spite of attempts by motion picture greats such as Clark Gable, Marlon
Brando, Charleton Heston and many others to misrepresent that
unfortunate event. Not the Captain Bligh was a nice man, but he was
probably a cut above Captain Queeg, represented by Humphrey Bogart in
the "Caine Mutiny." That's Bligh in the longboat waving a fond farewell
to His former pal, Fletcher Christian. Some of these movies are
represented on-line and are fun to review.
