When
you visit our workshop in Mahone Bay you can participate in our Hands
on Experience. You will be guided through the process of pewter making
then complete and personalize a take home treasure from Amos. This year
our signature piece is a Barndoor Skate. The Barndoor Skate is the
largest skate residing in the waters along the Atlantic coast and are
considered harmless to humans. Neatly packaged in a Bait Bag you will
find everything you need to finish your pewter keepsake. Sand paper for
finishing rough edges, steel wool for shining your piece, we also
include care instructions and a bit of trivia! You may finish the piece
here with us or if you prefer, take it home to complete.
